What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging Geography lesson plans for classes 9-12
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan school events, fairs, and exhibitions that promote geography education
- Create interactive Geography displays and presentations for the school and local community
- Engage with local community members to identify and incorporate real-world examples into your teaching
- Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to school development programs
- Participate in professional development workshops to stay updated on the latest Geography teaching methods and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Geography or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level
