Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Environmental Engineering to join our faculty at Cambridge Institute Of Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic administration. Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Environmental Engineering, including Water and Wastewater Treatment, Air and Noise Pollution Control, and Environmental Impact Assessment.
- Develop and implement new courses and programs in Environmental Engineering to meet the needs of the industry and society.
- Conduct research and publication in peer-reviewed journals, with a focus on sustainable and environmental engineering practices.
- Supervise and guide postgraduate students in their research projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Foster industry partnerships and collaborations to enhance research and teaching opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of the University's academic programs and policies.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
PG Class Profile
- Teach master's level courses in Environmental Engineering, including Advanced Water and Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Modeling and Simulation, and Sustainable Development Practices.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects, providing mentorship and support to ensure timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and programs in Environmental Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering or a related field from a recognized University, with a minimum of 55% marks.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Eligibility Test (SLET) qualification in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Publication in peer-reviewed journals, with a minimum of 2 papers in the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching, research, and academic administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and industry partners.
