Dance Teacher Job in Ranchi, Jharkhand | School Vacancy
Gd Goenka School in Namkum, Ranchi is looking for a dynamic Dance professional to manage its co‑curricular dance programme. The role involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating events and ensuring smooth administration of the dance department.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and supervise all dance activities, workshops and performances in line with the school calendar.
Maintain inventory of costumes, music equipment and studio supplies, ensuring timely procurement and proper storage.
Liaise with external choreographers, event organisers and cultural bodies to arrange guest sessions and participation in competitions.
Prepare and submit regular reports on programme outcomes, attendance and budget utilisation to senior school management.
Handle enquiries from parents and students, providing clear information about class timings, fees and registration procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety standards in the dance studio, conducting periodic checks and maintaining records of incidents, if any.
Assist in the promotion of dance events through newsletters, social media updates and school bulletins.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Graduate degree in any discipline.
Minimum two years of experience in managing dance programmes or similar co‑curricular activities in a school setting.
Good organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with budgeting tools.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Preferred Credentials
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Holding TET/CTET certification will be considered a plus.
Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The role is full‑time and based at the Gd Goenka School campus in Namkum, Ranchi. The candidate will work closely with the school’s cultural coordinator and report to the Head of Co‑Curricular Activities.
