We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced NTT English Teacher to join our team at Sir J.c. Academy School Thakurgaon in Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand. As an NTT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students in grades 6-12. What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students in grades 6-12.
2. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
3. Develop and implement curriculum materials and assessments.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English programs.
5. Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.
6. Participate in school-wide professional development opportunities.
7. Assist with extracurricular activities and events.
8. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- 2 years of experience in teaching English to students in grades 6-12
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
Good to Have:
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in teaching English as a second language
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature
