PGT Accountancy Teacher Position at Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi
Sarala Birla Public School in Rahe, Ranchi, seeks a dedicated PGT Accountancy Teacher to guide students through advanced accounting principles and practical applications. This role involves shaping young minds with a strong foundation in financial management, taxation, and business accounting. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging classroom sessions covering core accountancy topics such as financial statements, cost accounting, and corporate taxation. Prepare detailed lesson plans incorporating real-world examples and case studies to enhance understanding. Monitor student progress through interactive quizzes, assignments, and group discussions to ensure comprehension. Maintain a structured classroom environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking among students.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and assess term-end projects, presentations, and practical examinations to evaluate students' grasp of accountancy concepts. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to integrate accountancy with other disciplines like economics and business studies. Organize guest lectures or workshops with industry professionals to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world accounting practices. Provide timely feedback on assignments and exams to guide students toward academic excellence.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with the school’s administrative team to ensure compliance with syllabus guidelines and curriculum updates. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum improvements for accountancy. Prepare annual progress reports summarizing student performance and areas needing enhancement.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or a related field is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching at this level. Two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in accountancy or commerce, is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.45,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with the opportunity to teach at one of Jharkhand’s premier schools in Ranchi. The role is full-time and based in Rahe, Ranchi.
