Calcutta Public School in Ormanjhi, Ranchi, seeks a dedicated PGT Biology Teacher to join its faculty and inspire students with a passion for scientific exploration. Daily classroom management, including conducting experiments, demonstrations, and practical sessions, will be a key part of the role. The teacher will also assess student progress through exams, projects, and continuous evaluation, providing constructive feedback to help students excel. Collaboration with the science department and participation in school events, such as science fairs and workshops, will enhance the teaching experience. Additionally, the teacher will assist in organizing extracurricular activities like quiz competitions and science clubs to encourage a deeper interest in biology. Maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment will be essential, ensuring all students feel motivated and engaged in their studies.

To qualify for this position, the candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a biology-focused school, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial for demonstrating teaching aptitude and classroom readiness. Experience in designing innovative teaching methods and integrating technology into biology education will be a significant advantage.
