- Mentor junior teachers and support new staff during induction, sharing best practices and classroom management techniques.
- Engage with the broader community by organizing science fairs, guest lectures, and outreach programs that promote biology and environmental stewardship.
- Utilize digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences, ensuring students are comfortable with virtual labs and interactive simulations.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and critical thinking among students.
- Align teaching strategies with the school’s vision of holistic development, balancing academic rigor with character building.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Biology or related field is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for teaching positions; TET/CTET is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and a passion for inspiring students in the life sciences. Experience with laboratory management and student mentorship will be considered an advantage.
