About This Role
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced PGT Botany Teacher to join our faculty at St. Michael's School in Ranchi, Jharkhand. As a PGT Botany Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Botany to our students at the higher secondary level.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging Botany lessons to students in class X and XII
- Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student progress
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to improve student learning outcomes
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Provide academic support to students outside of class hours
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Botany and integrate them into the curriculum
- Contribute to the development of the school's Botany department
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for teaching positions. While a TET or CTET certificate is desirable, it is not mandatory. We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
