Role Summary

What You Will Do
Teach English literature and language to undergraduate students at S.b. Inter College Bartuwa. Prepare lesson plans aligned with UGC-NET syllabus standards. Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback under guidance from senior faculty.
Design interactive classroom sessions using local examples to improve student engagement. Organize departmental seminars and cultural events related to English literature. Assist in curriculum review and textbook selection as per Jharkhand Academic Council guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in English with minimum 55% marks is mandatory. NET/SET qualification is required as per UGC norms for Assistant Professor roles in colleges. Candidates without NET/SET must register and qualify within two years of joining.
Learning and Development
S.b. Inter College Bartuwa supports Ph.D. registration for eligible candidates. Encourages continuous professional development through workshops and refresher courses. Career progression to Associate Professor is available based on performance and eligibility.
Perks and Pay
Monthly salary ranges from Rs.45,000 to Rs.60,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include PF, gratuity, and medical reimbursement as per college policy. Professional development allowances are provided for approved courses.
