Job Description
PGT Geography Teacher Job in Ranchi, Jharkhand | School Recruitment
Vidya Vikas Public School in Rahe, Ranchi, is looking for an experienced PGT Geography Teacher to join their team. This role involves teaching high school students geography, ensuring they grasp both theoretical concepts and practical applications. Your lessons should connect local geography—like Jharkhand’s diverse landscapes and resources—to broader global themes, making it engaging for students.
The job requires delivering structured geography classes, including maps, field trips, and hands-on projects. You’ll also prepare lesson plans, assess student progress, and maintain a classroom environment that encourages curiosity. Since geography at this level often blends theory with real-world examples, your ability to simplify complex topics for young learners is key.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience. While TET/CTET isn’t mandatory, having it will strengthen your application. Your passion for shaping young minds through geography should be evident in your approach.
Based in Ranchi, this is a full-time position offering a monthly salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 55,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The school values educators who are not just subject experts but also mentors who inspire students to explore the world beyond textbooks. If you’re ready to bring geography to life in a dynamic classroom, this could be a great fit.
