Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Philosophy Teacher to join the faculty of St. Michael’s School in Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Philosophy and a strong commitment to academic excellence.
What You Will Do
1. Teach Philosophy to students in classes XI and XII.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials.
3. Conduct classes and provide individualized attention to students.
4. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
5. Develop and implement curriculum-aligned assessments.
6. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
7. Maintain accurate records and reports.
8. Communicate with parents and students regarding student progress.
9. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Philosophy or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- 2 years of teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of Philosophy curriculum and instructional methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good to Have:
- TET or CTET certification.
- Experience teaching Philosophy in a school setting.
- Familiarity with curriculum-aligned assessment and evaluation methods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
