About This Role
We are seeking an exceptional PGT Physics Teacher to join our team at St. Michael’s School. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of our students and inspiring them to excel in the field of Physics. The Physics Teacher Job in Ranchi will be responsible for teaching Physics to Classes 9 to 12 and contributing to the development of our Science curriculum.
What You Will Do
- Teach Physics to Classes 9 to 12, following the CBSE curriculum
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons to cater to diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their understanding of Physics concepts
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive Science curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Physics and incorporate them into the curriculum
- Supervise students during Physics experiments and ensure their safety in the laboratory
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc. or M.A.) and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in teaching Physics to Classes 9 to 12 and have a strong background in research and academic writing. Candidates with a CTET or TET qualification will be given preference.
