Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to students in the Primary and Pre-Rural Primary (PPRT) section, ensuring clear and engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum. Develop lesson plans that incorporate interactive methods to boost understanding and participation, especially for younger learners.
Deliver age-appropriate content covering key topics like numbers, basic arithmetic, geometry, and introductory algebra. Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide immediate feedback to address any learning gaps.
Engage students with practical examples, real-world applications, and hands-on activities to reinforce mathematical concepts effectively. Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and excel.
Eligibility
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field as the minimum qualification. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for teaching roles in schools.
Experience in teaching Mathematics to children aged 6 to 12 years is essential, with at least three years of relevant classroom experience preferred. A valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate will be an added advantage.
