Position summary
Calcutta Public School | Ormanjhi is hiring a PRT Hindi Teacher for its Ranchi campus. The role involves delivering Hindi lessons to primary students, preparing engaging classroom material and fostering a love for the language among young learners.
Reporting and scope
Reports to the Head of Primary Section and works with the teaching team to maintain curriculum standards.
Core duties
Plan and conduct Hindi lessons for classes I‑V in accordance with the school syllabus.
Create age‑appropriate teaching aids, worksheets and activities that develop reading, writing and speaking skills.
Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes and oral tests, providing feedback to students and parents.
Maintain classroom discipline, promote a positive learning environment and encourage participation.
Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and parent‑teacher interactions.
Qualification and experience
Graduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
Good command of Hindi language and proficiency in English for classroom communication.
Compensation and location
Salary: Rs.13,000 – Rs.25,000 per month.
Location: Ormanjhi, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Employment type: Full‑time.
