About This Role
St. Michael’s School, a well-established educational institution in Rahe, Ranchi, is seeking an experienced and dedicated PRT Mathematics Teacher to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from Class 1 to 8.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students
- Develop and implement the Mathematics curriculum in accordance with the school's policies and guidelines
- Conduct Mathematics board exam coaching to ensure excellent results
- Develop and manage resources for Mathematics teaching and learning
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in Mathematics department meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Supervise students during Mathematics lessons and maintain a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Preference given to candidates with TET or CTET certification
