About This Role
S.b. Inter College Bartuwa is seeking an experienced and skilled PRT for our Science department. As a key member of the faculty, you will be responsible for leading the department and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for Science education.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging Science curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Mentor and supervise faculty members to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Coordinate and conduct Science exams, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
- Conduct research and publish papers in UGC-CARE journals to contribute to the academic reputation of S.b. Inter College Bartuwa.
- Guide Ph.D. students and provide them with mentorship and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop interdisciplinary programs and courses.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities, including committee work and special projects.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective functioning of the Science department.
- Foster partnerships with local schools, colleges, and industries to enhance Science education and research.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Science with minimum 55% marks.
- Ph.D. in Science or related field is preferred.
- NET/SET qualification is mandatory for Assistant Professor position.
- Associate Professor/Professor level with 8+ years of experience in teaching and research.
- Strong academic and research background with expertise in Science education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Research & Publications
- Guide Ph.D. students and provide them with mentorship and support.
- Publish papers in UGC-CARE journals to contribute to the academic reputation of S.b. Inter College Bartuwa.
- Collaborate with other researchers and academics to develop research projects and publications.
- Present research papers at national and international conferences.
