Core Duties
Teaching and curriculum implementation
Prepare and deliver chemistry lessons covering syllabus topics such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and physical chemistry. Ensure alignment with CBSE/ICSE/State Board guidelines while adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning abilities.
Classroom management and student engagement
Maintain a structured and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage participation through group activities, discussions, and hands-on experiments to enhance student comprehension and retention.
Subject-specific assessment and evaluation
Design and conduct regular assessments, including quizzes, lab-based evaluations, and project-based learning. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and problem-solving skills.
Collaboration with the chemistry faculty
Work closely with other science teachers to coordinate interdisciplinary activities, such as science fairs or project exhibitions. Share best practices and resources to strengthen the school’s chemistry curriculum.
Curriculum development and innovation
Stay updated on educational trends and innovative teaching methods in chemistry. Suggest improvements to lesson plans, lab equipment usage, and assessment techniques to enhance learning outcomes.
Qualification and Experience
The selected candidate must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Chemistry or a related field. A strong foundation in chemistry principles and teaching experience in schools is essential.
For this TGT Chemistry Teacher position, at least 2 years of teaching experience in chemistry at the secondary or higher secondary level is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Compensation and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
