Role Introduction
Corona Universal School in Kanke, Ranchi is looking for a dedicated TGT English Teacher to join its dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping students’ language skills and critical thinking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for classes 6 to 8, aligning with the state curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate varied teaching methods and technology to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and class participation, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report academic performance to senior teachers and parents.
- Participate in curriculum development meetings and suggest improvements to enhance the English program.
- Organize and facilitate extracurricular activities such as debates, drama, and literary clubs to foster creativity.
- Mentor junior staff and support new teachers in adapting to school policies and classroom management.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and cross‑subject learning.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest educational trends and incorporate best practices into teaching.
- Ensure classroom environment is safe, inclusive, and conducive to learning.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions as required.
- Uphold school values and maintain a positive, respectful relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualification, experience, salary, location
Post‑graduate qualification in English or related field, B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of 4 years teaching experience at the TGT level. Full‑time position based in Kanke, Ranchi, Jharkhand, offering a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month.
