Role Summary (immediate joining preferred)
St. Michael’s School, located in the heart of Rahe, Ranchi, Jharkhand, has an immediate opening for a TGT English Teacher to cater to the needs of our students. The school is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to teach English to students from classes 6 to 10. The selected candidate will be expected to join as soon as possible, preferably within a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans for English classes, incorporating various teaching methodologies.
- Conduct classes for students, monitoring their progress and providing feedback.
- Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as literary festivals and cultural programs.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop the English curriculum and improve teaching methods.
- Engage with parents through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in English, preferably with TET/CTET certification. A postgraduate degree in English Literature or Language is an added advantage. St. Michael’s School values candidates with a strong teaching background and experience in handling classes 6 to 10.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be Rs.20,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, negotiable for strong candidates. The school offers a range of benefits, including medical insurance, paid leave, and opportunities for professional development.
