Day-To-Day Duties
Plan and deliver lessons for TGT Mathematics classes using textbooks and reference materials.
Prepare monthly unit tests and weekly practice sheets aligned with the Jharkhand Academic Council syllabus.
Organize remedial sessions for students who struggle with basic arithmetic or algebraic thinking.
Use local examples—like calculating interest on bank deposits or measuring land areas—to make lessons relatable.
Grade assignments and provide written feedback that highlights strengths and areas for improvement.
Attend staff meetings to align teaching strategies with school-wide goals.
Participate in parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress in mathematics.
Contribute to school events like math quizzes and exhibitions that showcase student talent.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Mathematics as a teaching subject.
Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience in secondary classes.
Familiarity with Jharkhand state board curriculum is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience using simple teaching aids like charts or models is helpful.
