TGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Dav Nandraj Public School, Hehal

Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily PE classes, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and engaging for students. Demonstrate techniques, sports skills, and teamwork through hands-on instruction. Maintain a clean, well-equipped gymnasium and outdoor sports facilities. Monitor student participation, encourage teamwork, and address any safety concerns during activities.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Prepare lesson plans that integrate sports, fitness, and physical development with curriculum goals. Collaborate with the school management to organize inter-house sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities. Assess students’ progress in physical abilities through standardized tests and feedback sessions. Stay updated on sports rules, safety protocols, and emerging physical education trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with the school administration to arrange guest lectures or workshops on nutrition, fitness, and sports psychology. Review and update PE equipment inventory and maintenance schedules. Represent the school in local sports competitions or community fitness programs as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Possess a TET or CTET certificate for teacher eligibility. Minimum four years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education or sports-related subjects. Strong knowledge of sports science, injury prevention, and inclusive fitness practices.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is based in Hehal, Ranchi, Jharkhand, with full-time employment.
