Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Science lessons for middle and secondary classes, aligning with the NCERT syllabus and school guidelines. Develop and use teaching aids, experiments, and multimedia resources to make concepts clear and interesting. Assess student performance through periodic tests, quizzes, project work and provide timely feedback. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress reports. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and support school events such as science fairs and exhibitions. Guide students in laboratory work, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student achievements and areas for improvement. Contribute to the preparation of the school’s annual academic calendar and assist in curriculum review meetings. Mentor junior staff and assist in organizing extra‑curricular activities related to Science. Uphold the school’s discipline policies and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
Qualification and Experience
A post‑graduate degree in Science along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Candidates should have cleared the TET/CTET examinations, though this is not a strict requirement. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a recognized school is required. Experience in conducting laboratory sessions and managing classroom dynamics is essential.
Salary and Location
