About This Role
L. A. Garden High School, a reputable institution in Rahe, Ranchi, is seeking a qualified TGT Science Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students from classes 6 to 8.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students
- Prepare and administer quizzes, tests, and exams
- Mark and provide constructive feedback on student work
- Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Attend staff meetings and participate in school events
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress reports
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- A postgraduate degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- 3 years of experience in teaching Science in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and pedagogy
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience with project-based learning and hands-on activities
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom
Salary and Benefits
