Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects across Class 9 to 12, ensuring interactive and curriculum-aligned lessons. Develop lesson plans and assessment tools that reflect modern teaching methods while keeping Jharkhand’s rich cultural heritage central to discussions. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and collaborate with the principal to address academic challenges. Organize extra-curricular activities like debates, model rallies, and field trips to deepen understanding of social issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and curiosity.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Social Science or a related field. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate to qualify for teaching positions in Jharkhand. Experience in handling diverse student backgrounds is highly valued.
Experience
Proven teaching experience of at least two years in a school setting, preferably in Social Science. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE syllabus and adaptive teaching strategies for students at different learning levels. Ability to engage students through practical examples, case studies, and real-world applications of social science concepts.
