Job Description
Vidya Vikas Public School in Kanke, Ranchi is looking for an experienced VICE PRINCIPAL to support the principal in overall school administration. The role involves strategic planning, staff coordination and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations in a vibrant K-12 environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the principal in formulating academic and co‑curricular policies, monitoring their implementation and reviewing outcomes. Oversee student discipline, attendance and welfare programmes, acting as the first point of contact for parents and guardians on non‑academic matters. Lead the coordination of examinations, assessments and results analysis, ensuring compliance with state education board guidelines. Manage school resources, including budgeting, procurement and facility maintenance, while maintaining transparency and accountability. Conduct regular staff meetings, mentor senior staff and facilitate professional development initiatives. Represent the school at community events, education fairs and inter‑school collaborations.
Required Experience & Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in any discipline is mandatory, with a minimum of four years of experience in school administration or a comparable leadership role. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Indian school regulations and possess excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills. While TET/CTET certification is not required for this non‑teaching position, familiarity with these frameworks is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.60,000 – Rs.90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
