About This Role
Utkarsha School Belagavi seeks an experienced Non-Teaching Trained (NTT) English Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. As an NTT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students in grades 1-5 at our school in Belagavi, Karnataka.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students in grades 1-5
- Prepare and administer English assessments and exams
- Develop and implement English language learning plans
- Create and distribute English study materials
- Manage classroom discipline and maintain a safe learning environment
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English programs
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
- Supervise students during break times and maintain a positive learning environment
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in English or a related field
- 3 years of teaching experience in an English language classroom
Good to Have:
- TET or CTET certification in English
- Experience teaching English language to students in grades 1-5
- Familiarity with English language curriculum and assessment tools
