NTT Hindi Teacher Job in Belagavi, Karnataka | School Recruitment
Senior Hindi Department Role
Utkarsha School Belagavi is seeking a senior NTT Hindi Teacher to lead the Hindi department with vision and hands-on involvement in classroom instruction. This is a full-time opportunity to shape the school’s Hindi curriculum, mentor younger teachers, and contribute to strong board results. The role carries responsibility for academic planning, assessment design, and departmental growth within a progressive school environment in Belagavi.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver differentiated Hindi lessons from Nursery to Class 5, aligning with NTT standards and the school’s bilingual approach. Own the Hindi curriculum for early grades, including resource creation, activity planning, and periodic review with the academic coordinator.
Monitor student progress through regular assessments, maintain detailed records, and provide actionable feedback to parents during PTMs. Ensure consistent use of teaching aids and digital tools to reinforce language learning in an interactive classroom.
Collaborate with the English and Marathi departments to integrate cross-curricular themes, especially in storytelling and poetry units. Support the introduction of phonics-based Hindi reading in lower grades to build foundational skills.
Mentor 2–3 junior Hindi teachers, conducting demonstration lessons and co-planning weekly. Organize departmental meetings to share best practices and discuss student needs.
Conduct remedial sessions for students needing extra support in Hindi comprehension and writing. Prepare monthly reports on academic milestones and departmental achievements for leadership review.
Coordinate Hindi Day celebrations and inter-house competitions to promote cultural engagement and linguistic confidence among students.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Hindi with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Hindi, preferably in early childhood or primary settings.
Preference for candidates with TET/CTET certification and familiarity with Kannada-medium learners. Strong written and spoken Hindi is essential, along with basic computer skills for lesson planning and digital resources.
