PGT Business Studies Teacher Position at The Hillside International School, Belagavi

Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging business studies lessons, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and national standards.
Engage students in group discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to deepen understanding of concepts like accounting, economics, and entrepreneurship.
Maintain organized class records, track student progress, and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
Prepare and update teaching materials, including slides, handouts, and interactive resources to support diverse learning styles.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and implement unit-wise lesson plans, incorporating modern teaching techniques and student-centric approaches.
Collaborate with the subject coordinator to refine the Business Studies curriculum, ensuring relevance and academic rigor.
Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, resource allocation, and student performance trends.
Assist in organizing school events related to business studies, such as guest lectures, workshops, or career guidance sessions.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct regular parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and areas for improvement.
Review and update assessment patterns, ensuring fairness and consistency in evaluating student learning outcomes.
Attend in-service training sessions or workshops to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends in business studies.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce, or a related field.
Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to ensure effective teaching at the secondary level.
Prove at least four years of teaching experience, preferably in a business studies or commerce stream.
Experience in preparing students for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, or state-level board exams is a plus.
A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, along with other benefits as per the school’s policy.
