PRT Mathematics Teacher Job in Belagavi, Karnataka
This role is for a Primary Teacher (PRT) to teach Mathematics at The Hillside International School in Belagavi. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in core mathematical concepts, ensuring students grasp foundational skills through interactive methods.
You will plan daily lesson plans, use visual aids like diagrams and real-world examples, and assess student understanding through quizzes and practical exercises. Your focus will be on building problem-solving skills, reinforcing algebra, geometry, and arithmetic in a structured yet creative way.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, along with a graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field. While TET/CTET is not mandatory for this position, having it will strengthen your application.
Three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is preferred. Familiarity with modern teaching tools and student engagement strategies will be beneficial.
The salary for this position is competitive, offering Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and performance.
