Responsibilities
Teach A Level History to students in Nagarjuna Vidyniketan, covering syllabus topics such as modern world history, political and economic developments, and key historical events. Prepare engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while ensuring clarity and depth in explanation.
Engage students with interactive teaching methods, including discussions, case studies, and visual aids to enhance understanding of historical concepts. Assess student progress through regular exams, projects, and continuous evaluation to track academic growth.
Collaborate with the academic team to support students’ overall learning, particularly those needing additional guidance in historical analysis and critical thinking. Maintain accurate records of student performance and contribute to the school’s annual report submissions.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in History or a related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience at the A Level or equivalent level is essential, preferably in a similar academic curriculum.
Experience in delivering history lessons that meet national education board standards is beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it would be an advantage in demonstrating teaching competence.
