ACCOUNTANT Job in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement.
Role Summary
Sri Aurobindo Memorial School seeks a skilled Accountant to join its administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and present financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports to the school management.
2. Manage the school's cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
3. Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
5. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
6. Provide financial guidance and support to school management.
7. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
8. Manage the school's financial software and systems.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a graduate degree in Commerce or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance is required. Proficiency in computer software, including accounting packages and Microsoft Office, is essential. Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software is desirable.
