Role Summary
As an integral part of Sri Aurobindo Memorial School's administration team, the Art And Craft role offers a leadership opportunity to manage the visual arts and crafts department, ensuring a well-rounded education for our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing art and craft programs that align with the school's curriculum. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement art and craft programs for students of various age groups, considering their skills and interests.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive art and craft activities that foster creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate art and craft into the curriculum, ensuring seamless learning experiences.
- Manage and maintain art and craft materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring their quality and availability.
- Supervise and mentor art and craft teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local art and craft communities, schools, and organizations to enrich the learning experiences of our students.
- Create and implement budgets for art and craft programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of art and craft programs, making recommendations for improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
- A graduate degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in art and craft education, program management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, teachers, and parents.
