About This Role
Sri Aurobindo Memorial School in Bengaluru Urban seeks an experienced and qualified Dance Teacher to lead its dance department. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for the overall administration and management of the dance program. This is a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic school environment.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement dance programs and curriculum for students
- Plan and conduct dance workshops and performances
- Recruit and supervise dance instructors and staff
- Manage dance facilities and resources
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure dance program integration
- Conduct dance competitions and events
- Evaluate dance program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Manage dance program budget and finances
- Collaborate with parents and students to ensure dance program meets their needs
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree in dance or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification is also required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. At least three years of experience in dance administration and management is essential.
