PGT Accountancy Teacher Job in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka | School Recruitment
Mountcrest Academy | Bengaluru is seeking a dedicated PGT Accountancy Teacher to join their esteemed team and inspire students with a strong foundation in financial principles. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Accountancy teaching across Class 11 and 12, aligning with Karnataka’s curriculum while fostering analytical skills. The ideal candidate will engage students through interactive sessions, ensuring clarity in concepts like double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and corporate accounting. Given Mountcrest Academy’s emphasis on holistic learning, the teacher must also mentor students in exam preparation, particularly for board exams and competitive entrance tests.
The PGT Accountancy Teacher will plan and conduct lectures, using visual aids and real-world examples to simplify complex topics. Daily classroom management, including handling student queries and addressing doubts, is a key responsibility. The teacher will also prepare lesson plans, assessments, and progress reports, ensuring students meet academic benchmarks. Collaborating with the senior management to align teaching methods with institutional goals is essential, especially in subjects requiring both theoretical depth and practical application.
Candidates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and at least four years of experience in Accountancy teaching are preferred. A postgraduate qualification in Accountancy or a related field is mandatory, with a strong academic background in commerce or finance. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career growth. The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching, problem-solving skills, and a passion for shaping future professionals in the field.
