Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver engaging biology lessons aligned with Karnataka curriculum standards.
2. Prepare and administer assessments, including practicals and examinations.
3. Mentor students in laboratory skills, ensuring safety and effective use of equipment.
4. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects.
5. Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student progress records.
6. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
7. Guide students in science competitions and extracurricular activities.
8. Contribute to curriculum review and resource development for future cohorts.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Biology with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not compulsory. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school environment is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong subject knowledge, classroom management skills, and a passion for fostering scientific curiosity among students.
Salary and location
Rs.35,000 – Rs.70,000 per month; Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka.
