Global City International School seeks an experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to lead engaging classroom sessions, ensuring students grasp core concepts like programming, algorithms, and digital literacy. The ideal candidate will design innovative lesson plans that align with Karnataka’s education board syllabus while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Teach Computer Science at the senior secondary level, covering topics such as Python, Java, data structures, and cybersecurity basics. Develop interactive projects and coding workshops to enhance student engagement, often collaborating with other science teachers to integrate technology across subjects.
Prepare and administer regular assessments, including unit tests and project evaluations, to track student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, digital tools, and lab equipment, ensuring a well-equipped learning environment.
Attend school-wide workshops and professional development sessions to stay updated on teaching methodologies and emerging trends in Computer Science education. Act as a mentor to junior faculty members, sharing best practices and supporting their growth in the field.
Participate in curriculum reviews and suggest improvements to better prepare students for competitive exams like JEE and NEET, where Computer Science is increasingly relevant. Ensure compliance with school policies on digital ethics, cyber safety, and responsible use of technology.
