You will create lesson plans that blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on activities, such as role-playing simulations or guest lectures from local economists. Collaboration with other subject teachers and school management will be essential to integrate economic concepts across disciplines. Additionally, you will assess student performance through written exams, projects, and ongoing evaluations to track progress effectively.
A strong background in economics with at least two years of teaching experience is required. Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial for career advancement. Experience in teaching high school students and a deep understanding of modern economic challenges will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
