The PGT English Teacher at Soundarya Central School will design and deliver curriculum-based lessons, incorporating modern teaching methods to enhance student engagement. You’ll create lesson plans that integrate grammar, vocabulary, literature, and writing, ensuring alignment with Karnataka’s educational standards. Classroom management will include motivating diverse learners, addressing individual needs, and maintaining a supportive academic environment.
This position also requires preparing and grading assignments, conducting regular assessments, and providing constructive feedback to students. Collaboration with other faculty members will be essential to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives. Experience in co-curricular activities, such as debates, poetry recitals, or language clubs, will be highly valued.
To qualify, a candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in English or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset for this role.
