Work closely with the geography department to update teaching resources and align lessons with evolving educational trends. Participate in school-wide academic events, including geography exhibitions and competitions, to promote learning outside the classroom. Ensure compliance with school policies on curriculum adherence and student safety during field visits.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with the principal and senior faculty to review and refine geography teaching strategies based on student feedback and assessment data. Organize guest lectures or workshops by inviting experts in geography to share insights on current research and practical applications. Conduct periodic reviews of teaching effectiveness, focusing on student engagement and conceptual clarity in geography topics.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field with at least four years of teaching experience in schools. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to ensure pedagogical readiness. Experience in designing and implementing geography curricula for high school students is highly valued. A strong command of English and Kannada will be beneficial for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
