- Maintain accurate attendance records, attendance logs, and student progress reports in accordance with school policy.
- Participate in departmental meetings to share best practices, collaborate on inter‑disciplinary projects, and contribute to curriculum development.
- Mentor junior teachers and support them in adopting effective teaching strategies.
- Organize and supervise school‑wide history events such as Heritage Day, History Week, and field trips to museums or historical sites.
- Engage parents through regular communication about student achievements, challenges, and classroom activities.
- Stay updated with contemporary history research, educational technology, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in History or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching positions, while TET/CTET certifications are preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the PGT level is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong command over the subject matter and a passion for nurturing students’ historical awareness.
Salary and Location
