Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons, ensuring clear explanations of theories, formulas, and practical applications. Conduct experiments and demonstrations to enhance student understanding, maintaining a safe and organized lab environment. Assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and daily assignments to identify learning gaps. Collaborate with students to resolve doubts promptly and encourage curiosity about scientific phenomena.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Prepare comprehensive lesson plans that integrate current scientific research and real-world applications. Monitor student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Participate in school-wide academic events, including science fairs and inter-house competitions, to promote engagement. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and participation in physics-related activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Develop and review annual physics curriculum objectives to ensure relevance and progression. Attend faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies and share best practices in physics education. Organize guest lectures or workshops with local scientists or engineers to enrich student learning experiences.
To qualify, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Physics along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in physics or a related scientific subject is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly preferred for this role.
