Physics (PGT) Vacancy in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka
Nagarjuna Vidyniketan | Bengaluru
Job Description
At Nagarjuna Vidyniketan, a PGT Physics Teacher prepares students for their board exams and deeper conceptual understanding through structured lessons. You will deliver engaging lectures, solve complex problems, and explain theoretical concepts with clarity. The role involves covering syllabus topics like mechanics, electricity, optics, and modern physics, ensuring students grasp both fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
You plan daily lesson plans that align with the Karnataka curriculum while adapting teaching methods to different student abilities. Group discussions, practical demonstrations, and interactive quizzes are part of your approach to keep students engaged. Your lessons must bridge theory and real-world applications, such as renewable energy or space technology, to spark curiosity.
Assessment is a key part of your duties—designing unit tests, conducting periodic evaluations, and providing detailed feedback to help students improve. You also maintain grade records and report progress to parents, ensuring transparency in academic growth. Regularly updating the school’s Physics lab resources and coordinating with lab technicians ensures practical learning stays current.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in high school or equivalent, is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior teaching certification strengthens your application.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 70,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a well-established school in Bengaluru Urban. The role is full-time, with a focus on shaping young minds through dedicated Physics education.
