Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Teach Zoology to students in Carmel Academy Icse School’s senior secondary section, covering syllabus aligned with ICSE curriculum. Prepare detailed lesson plans, including practical demonstrations and field-based activities, to engage students effectively.
Design and conduct experiments, dissections, and lab sessions to reinforce theoretical concepts with hands-on learning. Ensure all practical work adheres to safety protocols and institutional guidelines.
Evaluate student performance through written tests, projects, and continuous assessments, maintaining transparency in grading and feedback.
Support students with individual and group projects, especially those requiring fieldwork or research-based assignments.
Collaborate with the science department to integrate Zoology with other subjects, ensuring interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for a PGT role in Karnataka schools.
Gain at least four years of teaching experience, preferably in senior secondary or equivalent educational levels. Experience with ICSE curriculum is a plus.
Salary for this full-time position is Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, with benefits to be discussed during the interview.
