Core duties

- Conduct laboratory and fieldwork sessions, supervising students in dissection, specimen collection, and ecological studies.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Coordinate inter‑departmental science fairs and biology competitions, representing Narayana Olympiad Schools | Bengaluru in regional events.
- Mentor junior teachers and interns, sharing pedagogical strategies and curriculum resources.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in the school’s database.
Qualification and experience
Postgraduate degree in Zoology required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred but not compulsory. Minimum 4 years of experience in secondary school teaching, with a proven track record of student success. Ability to inspire interest in wildlife, conservation, and research projects is essential.
Compensation and location
Salary range Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position based in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka at Narayana Olympiad Schools | Bengaluru.
