The teacher will design and deliver engaging English lessons for classes 6 to 10, ensuring alignment with the state curriculum and assessment standards. Daily classroom management, including setting learning objectives and monitoring student progress, is essential. The teacher will prepare lesson plans that incorporate modern teaching aids, multimedia resources, and interactive activities to foster critical thinking and language skills.
Assessment and feedback are key responsibilities: the teacher will conduct formative and summative evaluations, provide constructive feedback to students, and maintain accurate attendance and performance records. Collaboration with fellow teachers during faculty meetings and curriculum planning sessions will help refine instructional strategies and support school-wide academic goals.
The teacher will also mentor and guide students in extracurricular activities such as debates, drama clubs, and literary competitions, promoting holistic development. Participation in professional development workshops and staying updated with contemporary pedagogical trends are expected to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Additionally, the teacher will maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, address behavioral issues promptly, and communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns. The role involves contributing to the school’s community outreach programs and supporting school events that celebrate student achievements.
Qualification and experience
The candidate must hold a graduate degree and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Experience of at least two years teaching English at the secondary level is required. TET or CTET certification is not mandatory but preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong command of the English language, both written and spoken, and possess excellent classroom management skills.
Salary and location
The position offers a competitive salary range of Rs.16,000 to Rs.33,000 per month. The role is based in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, and is a full-time teaching position.
