About This Role
As a senior English department role, we are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated PRT English Teacher to join the faculty of Sri Aurobindo Memorial School in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team of English teachers, develop and implement the curriculum, and contribute to the school's academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement English curriculum for classes 1-10
- Mentor and guide junior English teachers to enhance their teaching skills
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to improve student learning outcomes
- Prepare and deliver presentations to parents and staff on English curriculum and pedagogy
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate English with other subjects
- Participate in school-wide events and activities to promote English language and literature
- Monitor and maintain the English library and resources
- Contribute to the development of English language and literature programs in the school
Who Can Apply
We invite applications from experienced and qualified English teachers who have a Bachelor's degree and a B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and a strong background in English literature and linguistics are essential. NET or SET qualification is preferred. The selected candidate will be expected to start work immediately.

Salary and Benefits
