Job Summary:
The Oxford English School Bengaluru invites applications for a skilled and experienced PRT Hindi Teacher to join the Hindi department. This senior-level role offers an opportunity to lead and mentor junior staff, and those with leadership aspirations may be considered for the Vice Principal track.
Role Summary
As a PRT Hindi Teacher at The Oxford English School Bengaluru, you will be responsible for teaching Hindi to students from Class 1 to 10, developing and implementing the Hindi curriculum, and mentoring junior staff. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall academic excellence of the school.
What You Will Do
* Develop and implement the Hindi curriculum for Classes 1 to 10 in accordance with the NCERT guidelines.
* Teach Hindi to students from Class 1 to 10, using innovative and effective teaching methods.
* Mentor junior Hindi teachers and provide guidance on teaching methodologies and academic progress.
* Conduct internal assessments and evaluations to ensure the quality of Hindi education at the school.
* Prepare students for Hindi language and literature exams, including Karnataka Board exams.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary learning and holistic education.
* Develop and implement extracurricular activities that promote Hindi language and culture.
* Participate in school events and activities that promote Hindi language and literature.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
* Collaborate with the Principal and Vice Principals to achieve the school's academic and administrative goals.
Required Qualifications
* B.Ed in Hindi or a related subject from a recognized university.
* A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Hindi at the school level.
* NET or SET in Hindi or a related subject preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Hindi language and literature, including grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
