PRT Music Teacher Job in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka | School Recruitment
Sri Lakshmi Public School invites applications for a PRT Music Teacher to enrich our music curriculum in Bengaluru Urban. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons to primary students while fostering a love for music. This position is integral to our school’s cultural and academic excellence.
Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver age‑appropriate music lessons for grades 1‑6, incorporating theory, practice, and performance.
2. Prepare students for school concerts, competitions, and inter‑school events, ensuring polished presentations.
3. Maintain and organize musical instruments, sheet music, and teaching aids, ensuring safety and accessibility.
4. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and school assemblies.
5. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
6. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum planning sessions.
7. Uphold school policies on student conduct, attendance, and classroom management.
8. Contribute to the development of the school’s music club and extracurricular activities.
Qualification and Experience
Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification required; TET/CTET preferred. Proven ability to engage young learners and manage a diverse classroom environment is essential. Familiarity with Indian classical and western music styles will be an advantage.
Salary and Location
Rs.14,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. Full‑time position based in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka at Sri Lakshmi Public School.
