Job Description
TGT Chemistry Teacher Position at Nagarjuna Vidyniketan, Bengaluru Urban
Teach Chemistry to students in classes 9 to 12 with a focus on developing conceptual clarity and practical applications. Prepare lesson plans aligned with the Karnataka State syllabus, ensuring engaging and interactive sessions.
Conduct experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts, maintaining a safe and organized lab environment. Assess student understanding through regular quizzes, projects, and practical evaluations.
Guide students in understanding chemical reactions, periodic trends, and environmental chemistry through real-world examples. Collaborate with the science faculty to integrate chemistry across interdisciplinary projects.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and lab safety compliance. Ensure all teaching materials, including textbooks and lab equipment, are properly managed and updated.
Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and areas needing improvement. Participate in school events and workshops related to chemistry education.
