Position summary
Soundarya Central School in Bengaluru Urban is hiring a full‑time TGT Hindi Teacher to deliver Hindi curriculum to classes IX and X. The role involves planning lessons, fostering language skills, and preparing students for board examinations in a vibrant school environment.
Reporting and scope
Reports to the Head of Department and collaborates with senior faculty.
Core duties
Design and deliver engaging Hindi lessons aligned with the Karnataka State Board syllabus, incorporating literature, grammar, and oral communication. Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and projects, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed. Conduct co‑curricular activities such as debates, essay competitions, and cultural programs to enhance language proficiency. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in the school’s management system. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, departmental meetings, and professional development workshops.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Hindi or related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum of four years teaching experience in a school setting, preferably at the secondary level. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET examinations.
Compensation and location
Salary ranges from Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month. Position based in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka.
